The verdict is in
I got Wallander back from the Festival of Quilts on Monday, here are my marks…

Just in case you can’t see the writing, the first one reads, “A very interesting design idea- good colour use. Accuracy in piecing could be improved.” The second one says, “I like the minimalist design and colour composition.”
Bit disappointing that the piecing was either deemed bad or satisfactory as I paper pieced it and thought it was pretty good! And the edge treatment thing gets me again, but thankfully satisfactory on both counts rather than needing attention. One judge gave me good for my home machine feather quilting first attempt though which is nice.
Lets see what happens next year, one of these days I have got to get it right!

Well done! It looks like you got great marks to me plus that sort of judging can be very subjective!

I think that the marks mean that they liked it. I think it is a wonderful quilt.

I just don’t even want to imagine what edge treatment is, but it sounds painful../

Still better feedback than last year, so that’s a positive, but like Lynz says, all subjective!
