Wallander Top, completed!
Yey, I finished it just before work this morning!
The bottom right corner features some circles, the real reason is because I ran out of dark green, the posh competition reason is because I wanted to echo another theme from the same office that I drew inspiration from. Sorry the picture is a bit weird. Dog had to get involved too.
Here’s some pictures of that, I borrowed them from Copy + Paste. I worked from a memory of a couple of seconds to design and choose colours, so it’s interesting for me to see this again too.
See what I was going for right at the back of the shot?
Next step, basting and quilting!
Top ticked off for The Lovely Year of Finishes.

I love it! And almost the first thing I noticed was that bottom corner, it is a nice wee quirky addition. I do like surprises like that.

Hey Kerry
Just a quickie to let you know that I am not going to be able to make the EMMQG meet up today – got the bloomin lurgy!!! And I realise that I owe you money for fabric from your de-stash and that you need it soon to get your new walking foot. If you want to let me know your address I can send a cheque instead. Sorrrrreeeeee! Gutted I’m going to miss today. See you another time. Tanya x

Captivating! I love it and am very glad you persevered about getting the template and it’s seam allowance right. As for the circles in the corner, well, that is simply genius. Looking forward to seeing how you quilt it.
