What is this?
I havent got much to blog about at the minute- I’m currently learning to ice skate and have a class on Sunday and I’ve managed not to bite my nails for at least 2 months now so I’m having some acrylics done on saturday to protect them- they have never been this long before! Otherwise it’s just been work and working on the Stephen Fry quilt since the end of the month is close now!
So until I have something else to talk about, I thought I’d share this from the Popular Patchwork forum. We’re all trying to guess what the block pattern is on this thread here. Apparently it’s a common block with a sashing of sorts but I just can’t see it!
It’s beautiful though!

Hi Kerry! Wow, ice skating! I haven’t tried since school. We Finns used to start that after we learnt to walk (almost). We have funny video where my sister is running with skaters because she is too small to know to skate. I would love to try again but I think it would be too dangerous!
That quilt is beautiful! No idea how it’s made. x Teje

I thought I was quite good at working out how a block was made, but this one beats me

oh no, I’m too late! I wanted to say, don’t get the acrylics, they’re terrible for you, get gel nails instead… but it’s past the weekend.
I thought Sunday morning was kid’s skating lessons, my step daughter used to go. Is it adults too now or are you pretending to be 12?
mr. Fry is coming along lovely!
